Conference Update - International Humanoid Conference in Biel

Last week, Wheemo GmbH attended the International Humanoid Forum in Biel. We showcased our tech demonstrator and demonstrated how axial flux innovation in robotics unlocks previously constrained performance envelopes, while delivering efficiency levels not previously achievable.

A highlight of the event was our CTO, Marco Failla, showcasing the tech demonstrator during his pitch. He went deep into the hardware bottlenecks limiting current humanoid designs and outlined how breaking the existing hardware ceiling requires a step-change in torque density. The focus was clear: enabling more compact, torque-dense motors as a prerequisite for the next generation of humanoid robots.

The depth of discussions and the momentum across the humanoid and robotics ecosystem confirmed that the field is entering a new phase of technical ambition and execution.
